Gluten-Free Protein Antioxidant Pancakes
1 cup Gluten-Free Bisquick Mix
1 cup almond milk (can use cashew or coconut milk)
2 tbsp. olive or grapeseed oil (can use other alternative oils)
5 tsp. Miessence Complete Protein Powder
2 tsp. Miessence BerryRadical Antioxidant Powder
Optional: 1 tsp. Miessence DeepGreen Alkalising Powder
Note: you can also add 1 cup blueberries or replace 1/2 cup almond milk with 1/2 dark chocolate almond milk to make them more chocolatey
Stir ingredients until blended. Pour roughly 1/4 cupfuls onto hot greased griddle. Cook until edges are dry.
Makes roughly 6 to 8 pancakes.

Banana Nut Muffins
(Makes 12 Muffins)
1 cup almond flour
1 cup gluten-free sprouted flour blend (brown rice, oat and sorghum blend) or can use GF all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs or 2 flax eggs (flax eggs: 1/4 cup water + 2 tablespoons ground flax)
¼ cup water
½ cup maple syrup
2 very ripe bananas, mashed
½ cup walnuts, crushed
1 banana, cut in half and thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
Add banana slice and walnuts and bake for 15-18 minutes.
